چکیده
Organisms may respond to local stimuli that benefit or threaten their fitness. The adaptive movement behaviour allow individuals adjust speed maximise the chances of being in comfort zones, where death risk is minimal. We investigate spatial cyclic models rock-paper-scissors game rules describe nonhierarchical dominance. assume organisms one out species can control mobility rate response information obtained from scanning environment. Running a series stochastic simulations, we quantify effects strategy on patterns and population dynamics. Our findings show ability change adapt environmental clues not reflected an advantage games. provokes delay domains occupied by spiral waves, making group more vulnerable advance dominant less efficient taking territory dominated species. outcomes also accentuate whether most have long-range neighbourhood perception. results be helpful for biologists data scientists comprehend dynamics ecosystems processes are fundamental.

متن کاملInterfaces with internal structures in generalized rock-paper-scissors models.
In this work we investigate the development of stable dynamical structures along interfaces separating domains belonging to enemy partnerships in the context of cyclic predator-prey models with an even number of species N≥8. We use both stochastic and field theory simulations in one and two spatial dimensions, as well as analytical arguments, to describe the association at the interfaces of mut...

متن کاملSpatial rock-paper-scissors models with inhomogeneous reaction rates.
We study several variants of the stochastic four-state rock-paper-scissors game or, equivalently, cyclic three-species predator-prey models with conserved total particle density, by means of Monte Carlo simulations on one- and two-dimensional lattices. Specifically, we investigate the influence of spatial variability of the reaction rates and site occupancy restrictions on the transient oscilla...
